Prompt Club – September Meeting

The  Prompt Club met on September 15, with nine people in attendance. The variety of interpretations on the theme, “I’m haunted,” was vast, interesting and inspirational.  Member discussions are lively and insightful. If only the library was open later! We could really converse!

Last month’s stories went home with their authors after members took the time between meetings to reread and critique. This month’s submissions will be returned at the October meeting.  We’re hoping this gives both readers and writers a chance to truly benefit from the prompt sharing process.

Our next meeting will be Thursday, October 20, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Cherry Valley District Library small meeting room. The October prompt is,“A child’s birthday-cake wish comes true with disastrous consequences.”

At this time The Prompt Club is at capacity but if you would like to be put on a waiting list contact Mary Lamphere at
