Kathy started out by quoting Nora Roberts, “I can fix bad words, but I can’t fix a blank page.” For ideas on what to put on that blank page, she suggested keeping lists, giving yourself new experiences (like skydiving), writing the start of a scene and then taking a shower (the words will flow), and writing short stories for practice (like musical scales). Kathy’s advice was practical, inspirational, and entertaining.
