Historical Fiction Writers Featured at In Print Book Fair

Four historical fiction authors will attend the In Print World of Words Book Fair on Saturday, October 19th at the Barnes and Noble in Cherry Valley. They will talk about their approach to writing and answer questions from the audience from 1:30 to 2:30.

Jim and Marion Applegate became authors after retiring from lifetime careers in teaching.  They will be signing copies of their books from 11:30 to 1:00.

Susanna Calkins is a historian and works at Northwestern University. She will be autographing copies of her books from 3:00 to 4:00.

Jim Proebstle’s first novel In the Absence of Honor won the Indie Book and Eric Hoffer Awards in 2008.  His second novel, Fatal Incident, won the Indie Book and International Book Awards in 2011.  He will be available to sign his books from 12:00 to 1:00.

The Book Fair begins at 10:00 and runs until 5:00.  A portion of all purchases made at Barnes and Noble – in store on online – using the code 11156932 will go to In Print, allowing us to continue our support of writers and writing activities.
