Members have been asked to write a theme on What Makes a Story Worth Telling. It should be no longer than one page. All entries must be sent to Sandy Colbert (firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than March 22.
Eight themes will be selected and framed as part of the exhibit. The space will be organized into specific arts: photography, repurposed objects, sculpture, painting and the printed word. The exhibit will be at the Art Matters Artist Coop in Rockford on April 4.
The sponsors of the project plan to update the wall four times a year, so there will be opportunities to write other themes in the future.
There will be a bookcase near the wall where the themes will be displayed. Members can sell their books on consignment there. All questions should be directed to Sandy Colbert.
