The Place for Us

by Sandy Colbert

I can see you on the other side of the verdant valley. I know it’s you. As I walk closer I see the hair, the smile and the eyes. The loving, generous eyes. They told me that you died. They didn’t know about the place where there is no space or time. It’s part of song. One line about a place where there is no space or time. It does exist, this place, this precious place. We are there. I feel a joy that I did not know was possible.

Sandy is the president of In Print, resident of Rockford, and writer of what inspires me.
