October is the home of Halloween and In Print plans to serve up some scares at our monthly meeting!
Ursula Bielski is a historian, author and parapsychology enthusiast. She has written five books on the subject and is the leading authority on the Chicago area’s cemeteries and ghostly tales. Ursula has been featured on television and radio. She has been writing and lecturing on the supernatural for twenty years. She is the co-founder of “Chicago Hauntings Tours” and has investigated many allegedly haunted sites such as Wrigley Field and the site of the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. Ursula will be our featured speaker at our meeting on Saturday, October 11, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. The meeting will be at the Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center.
After the meeting, In Print will be hosting a field trip. We’ll be touring a cemetery as part of the “Haunted Rockford” experience. Haunted Rockford was founded and is operated by paranormal investigator and local historian, Kathi Kresol. Kathi will talk about the history and tell us some of the ghost stories associated with the location. The tour will begin at the Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center right after the monthly meeting. Cost is $10 per person and checks can be made out to Haunted Rockford.
Everyone is invited! Be there or be afraid… be very afraid…
