In Print Member’s Book is an Award Finalist

Congratulations going out to In Print member (and president) Kristin Oakley! Her novel, Carpe Diem, Illinois: A Leo Townsend Novel, was selected a First Novel Finalist in the 2015 IAN Book of the Year Awards.

The Independent Author Network has been promoting and supporting Indie Authors since 2010. The Book of the Year awards are open to all authors who are self-published, or published by independent publishers. Their fiction contest looks for vibrant covers, attention-grabbing openings, memorable characters, crisp dialogue, captivating and original plots and climactic, memorable endings.

Carpe Diem, Illinois has also won the Chicago Writers Association 2014 Book of the Year Award for Non-traditionally Published Fiction.
