In Print Celebrates Five Years with Writing Contest

As part of our fifth anniversary celebration, In Print is hosting a writing competition. The theme is “In Print“. You can write up to 250 words in any genre, but it must include five “in” words:

  • Inspire
  • Indulge
  • Intrigue
  • Integrity
  • Innocent

The “in” words may be used in any form or tense of the word as long as they are used correctly (e.g., inspirational, inspired, inspiring are all acceptable forms of inspire).

Submit your entries in the body of an email along with a brief bio to with the subject line “5Y5W“.

The competition runs through midnight, February 13, 2016.  Entries will be posted on the In Print Facebook Page. Winners will be determined by the number of positive comments listed for the piece (one comment per person, may comment on up to 3 pieces). Voting will go through February 28.

Winners of the competition will have their pieces read at the I AM IN PRINT party, by our special guest, Dan Klefstad, Morning Show Host and Book Editor on Northern Public Radio.

Good luck! We hope to see you at the Five Year Anniversary Celebration, Saturday, March 12 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Cliffbreakers. Everyone is invited to attend. Tickets can be purchased at the In Print meeting on Saturday, February 13, at the Cherry Valley Library from 1-4 pm, or by contacting In Print.
