Nature’s Gift

Hot winds blow in mournful memories.

White-tipped waves carry dreams yet unfulfilled.

The iridescent inland sea kisses

the rose-lipped sky at infinity.

I walk alone, content.

Bare soles brush across tender blades.

Chirps and trills, the air infused,

bathe me in splendorous sound.

Wide wings, gliding through cerulean skies,

fold to dive into the viridian canopy.

My breath releases bitter ills, unwittingly revealed.

Fears like fire dissolve in earth’s sacred mud.

Old wounds, ripped open, are healed in nature’s embrace.

Serenity resonates through passion’s core as twilight dawns.

I walk alone, content.
